A 24-year veteran of the college coaching ranks, Coach Kidd is in his 21st year coaching at Division 1 Sacred Heart University as the assistant and recruiting coordinator. Throughout his coaching career, Kidd has always been heavily involved in the development of team defensive strategies and guard skills. Prior to Sacred Heart, he spent four years at small college powerhouse Western Connecticut, where he helped them to 2 NCAA tournament bids. Before that, he spent two years as an assistant at his alma mater Central Connecticut State University. During his playing years at Central, Kidd was a four-year starter and a three-time captain. Kidd finished his playing career as the school’s all time leader in assists (567).

For over 30 years, John Reiser has coached basketball at both the high school and college levels. As head coach at three Connecticut High Schools since 1988, he has led teams to numerous league titles, conference championships and state titles, including the 2005 “LL” State Championship. His 2005 team set a state record for victories in a season with a record of 28-0. Coach Reiser was also selected as the 2005 Connecticut Coach of the Year. In 2013, Coach Reiser was inducted into the Manchester Hall of Fame. He has had the distinction of coaching both the boy and girl Connecticut Players of the Year, and is currently the head coach at Manchester High School where he just earned his 500th win.
